A piece I found very interesting, especially since as a male, I hear a lot of this spouted from male friends. I have friends who write it off as men are logical & women are illogical. I always find that a perplexing argument, because some of the most ridiculous situations or arguments I have seen involved two men.

It really is drilled into us that women only react to situations or never think out problems. It’s dead wrong, and kind of depressing when you hear that talk so much. Many times this is done jokingly, but when it’s done so much there must be truthful feelings behind it right? The worst part is that some of this really isn’t done in jest.

This isn’t to say that some people don’t overreact or are quick to become emotional, because those people do exist. The thing though is to evaluate your actions to see if they were truly deserving of such a reaction. If the answer is yes, which will happen more than you think, accept it and own it.
